Returns Policy

Refunds and Returns Terms and Conditions

  • All returns and refund requests must be submitted to Shaves within 30 (thirty) days from date of delivery.

Shaves will accept returns in the following instances:

  • The product is returned in its original packaging, unopened and in the same condition in which it was when it was delivered.
  • The product is faulty and/or damaged, subject to Shaves and its suppliers having the right to first inspect the product and the product has been used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. This includes Colour and material defects.
  • The incorrect product was delivered to you.
  • The order is not complete and you wish to refund your order.

Returns for Delivery Orders:

  • Shaves will arrange collection of the product at the same address at which it was delivered. Shaves may in its discretion, charge you a collective fee.

Returns for Collection Orders:

  • Products fulfilled via Click & Collect must be returned in-store at the same Shaves branch where the order was collected.
  • Shaves will not arrange collection for Click & Collect returns.

Inspection and Verification:

  • Upon submitting the return form, You herby consent to Shaves providing your personal information to the nominated third party delivery service provider in order to give effect to your request.
  • Shaves will be entitled to inspect the product and/or the send the product to its supplier for testing prior to processing any refund.
  • Photographs of the paint tins and/or packaging are requested with the returns form to ensure the products condition and that it is unopened.

Exclusions:

  • Shaves will not be obliged to process any refund in the event that the fault and/or damage is a result of the following:
    • Ordinary wear and tear;
    • Non-compliance with the manufacturers specifications, negligence, user abuse and/or incorrect usage.
  • Shaves will not be able to refund special request orders unless said paint and/or accessories are found to be materially defective.

Refund Processing:

  • Shaves will process refunds and returns via EFT. A refund can take up to 7 (seven) business days to reflect in your account, and EFT refunds are subject to verification of your banking details.
  • Shaves will refund a purchase for the exact amount paid less the following:
    • Delivery Charge
    • Restocking Fee of R120.00 (One hundred and twenty rand)
  • In the event that you have had a change of heart and would like to return a product, Please note Shaves will accept your return as long as the afore mentioned conditions are met.

  • Please note that these refund requirements are strictly applied, and no deviation thereof is permitted.
